Permette di mantenere la formattazione dei rientri e dei CRLF (a capo) per il testo scritto. Gli spazi interni alle frasi sono invece limitati a uno. Se se ne vogliono di più vanno forzati con l'entità HTML . Per un elenco delle entità HTML vedi [1].
